Nothing to See Here
Sorry, haven’t been posting here much. But not for lack of writing. You might be interested in:
* A post today on TAPPED, revisiting an argument I made a year ago that the Republican takeover in 1994 is not the model for this year’s elections.
* Two articles that just came out in the Washington Monthly, which had the brilliant idea of printing alternate covers, front and back, one assuming Republicans win next Tuesday, the other Dems win, with mostly the same writers on both sides.
Here’s my pre-election post-election speculation on a Democratic victory.
And here’s what I think follows from a Republican victory.
And finally, a contribution from last week to a fascinating discussion of Jacob Hacker’s new book, The Great Risk Shift.
Enjoy!

More links would be helpful; right now the only one that works is the 'Republican victory' article.

You're great, and I've been finding your stuff over at tpmcafe. Should that link be bookmarked, and this site removed? Does this site benefit you? I don't mind checking in and finding nothing new, but I wouldn't mind it if you re-engineered the layout of this site to be a "navigator" to where your articles reside.

Hey, If the democrats are so "appealing" and "innovative" towards the American people; why do all they care about is socializing everything, raising taxes, and fret over abortion and gay-rights bills? What about that economy they were trying to fix?

This next election is too important for us as a country.
November08.com

is a digg styled site for submission of political news and views. This site is specifically for the 08 election and only news of the 08 election so everything is relevant and no digging through other topics, stories to find relevant issues. We need you to submit articles that YOU think a important for the upcoming election.

After voting in almost every election for 40 years, 99% of the time for Republicans; the GOP has lost my support, I’m a slow learner I guess.
That being said, I won’t be voting for the Democrats anytime soon either. Between the two major parties we have an almost $9 Trillion Dollar National Debt, $25 Billion missing tax dollars in 2003 alone, over 25 million government employees and bureaucrats, neglected Troops and Veterans, 500,000 plus elected officials, thousands of laws, rules and regulations, $20 plastic ice cube trays and more!
From now on I will seek out Independent and third party candidates, especially those who are more concerned with the average citizen then with special interests and lining their own pockets at taxpayer expense.

Nice stuff... tough to keep track of all that is happening. I end up reading 100 odd blogs daily. Plus there is news. You could also enrich your blog by adding current news on your blog... try out the news widget from widgetmate.com
